An open plan kitchen/living/dining turned into a studio apartment to be able to host an extra guest.
The existing kitchen furniture was repainted in a subtle chic sage, terracotta floor tiles were covered in an ash parquet to bounce off lights, making the space seem bigger.
Custom built furniture makes the mostout of the available space, making it possible to tuck away items as big as a luggage. Natural stone walls were left exposed, some walls painted white to further bounce off light, while a wall in the living area was painted in a sage colour to cozy up the living/sleeping area, while bringing in the colour from the kitchen in order to repeat colour in the different sections.
A very warm space, retaining most of its original charm.
